Yesterday we had an appointment with the lactation consultant at our pediatrician's office. Benjamin is definitely growing very well - he weighed in at 7 pounds 2 ounces! Our pediatrician had said that they like to see a baby grow 1/2 to 1 ounce a day. Benjamin weighed 6 lbs 13 oz on Friday, so that means he gained five ounces over the weekend! They were happy to see him gain so easily.
Today we received in the mail a keepsake that we ordered through the company that took the hospital pictures. It includes the top stories and events that occurred on the day Benjamin was born. We scanned in the image, but it had to be scanned in two sections (therefore it the images below are of the top half and bottom half of the keepsake). It will be fun to be able to tell Benjamin things such as what the price of gas was when he was born.

Benjamin, you look so relaxed and content in your "Mommy Loves Me" shirt! I love your Keepsake newspaper. What will the cost of gas be when YOU start driving? Oh, my!! I want to disagree with the Zusman Family Excitement Meter...the excitement line should be at the top of the graph through all nine months because we were all VERY EXCITED the entire time!!
