Our One Year Anniversary

Today is our one year anniversary! 07-07-08 We had a wonderful day. We began by having a picnic at our apartment, which included eating the top of our wedding cake (it was still delicious!). Then we decided to visit some of our favorite and memorable spots around the Champaign-Urbana area. The picture of us was taken at Crystal Lake Park, where Steve and I first met! Steve had joined Nick Moccia in going to the Classics picnic at the beginning of the academic year. Steve and Nick sat with me and we had a great time.

Here I am at the pond where Steve and I went and spent many hours sitting on the bench talking. The bench, albeit hard to see in the picture, is located amongst the trees in the background.

Steve is standing in one of our most favorite scenic spots. We love this pathway of trees. To finish our anniversary, we watched our wedding video and some of the footage of our honeymoon in Hawaii. We can't believe that it has been a year already - but what an amazing year it has been! Now we are eagerly anticipating the addition to our family!
