A Traumatic Event

Last night we wanted to get Benjamin's handprint and footprint immortalized in clay with a keepsake kit that Steve won at one of our baby classes (he beat all of the other dads-to-be in a diaper change and swaddling competition). We were able to get Benjamin's footprint pretty easily, but he was not a happy baby when we were trying to get his handprint. You can see the end result in the picture - it worked decently well. After this and his bath, Benjamin was exhausted and slept quite nicely for us!

Here Benjamin is admiring his bear. He likes to try reaching for it and he gets excited and kicks his legs when he makes contact. We are going to track Benjamin's growth with this bear, so you will see Benjamin with his bear in several other pictures to come!
