Grandma Lucken Arrives!

Last Friday, Grandma Lucken arrived for a visit. Benjamin saw her, had to inspect her for a couple of minutes, but finally broke out his smile. I think he is starting to develop a little bit of stranger anxiety. Of course, Grandma Lucken was quickly remembered and they are having a great time together while Steve and I are at work, but he had to think about it a little bit! This past weekend though, when we were at the grocery store, Benjamin started bawling after the deli lady kept calling him a handsome boy. This happened right when she was marking our package of sliced meat and it apparently caused her to accidentally mark the meat as $140! We didn't notice this until we were in the check-out lane, to the amusement of our checkout lady and other customers. Benjamin has never reacted so much to someone talking to him! He also cries sometimes when either I or Steve (well, usually more me) leave the room.
