Peek-a-boo!

I mentioned in a previous post that Benjamin has been playing peek-a-boo with us the last couple of days when he peeks his face through his arms, but we hadn't captured on film yet. I got it on our camera today (hopefully video will come later!). What I didn't get were his really big smiles when we say peek-a-boo to him, but it is nonetheless adorable, of course!

Another thing I noticed today was that Benjamin seems to be getting even more assertive about things that he wants to do/have and things he does not want to do/have. He really twists and turns to grab things while on my lap or to climb down to play on his jungle gym. He also often now tries to climb onto me when he is on the ground, which I find very endearing because I am more than happy to snuggle with him!

He is getting closer to crawling, too. He gets up on his hands and knees often, albeit briefly. When I place my hands behind his feet to create resistance, he is able to push himself across the floor quite quickly.

The next two pictures are of Benjamin after his bath today, wearing his new bathrobe that he received from my professor's son (Benjamin primus). I think our friend Graham would appreciate the adorable Elmo figures that are on both the front and back of this cute robe.

Wow! Does Skylar look like her little cousin. Lots of strong Lucken DNA in those 2! :)
