Sick Little Boy

On Valentine's Day morning, Benjamin woke up with a cold (presumably he caught it from Steve, who has been miserable the last few days with a cold). My poor boys. As they were both quite sick, we decided to spend Valentine's Day at home. The weekend involved lots of sniffles, coughing, and crying (on Benjamin's part only, of course). I tried to keep Benjamin cozy warm, well-hydrated, and ran the humidifier on full blast. Today, Monday, he is still coughing a little, but he seems to be on the road to recover already!

Benjamin seems to like squash! Although he's only had it once - I decided not to give him squash while he was sick.

This is after I let him play with his cereal (once he was done eating it!). He really enjoyed putting his fingers in the soft and wet cereal. Although I was on the fence about giving him a bath, after he got it in his hair I decided a bath would be best.
