We had a great Halloween at our new house and our new neighborhood! After a week of almost constant rain, we finally enjoyed a sunny (albeit colder) day. We started our festivities by picking up a pumpkin at Lowes (not our usual place for a pumpkin, but it has been a crazy busy couple of weeks). After carving it, we tried to have Benjamin touch the gooey insides of the pumpkin, but he was not interested at all. However, he did enjoy the little gourds that we bought and he used one as a ball and tossed it around our kitchen. At 5:30 pm, once we started seeing our neighborhood trick-or-treaters, we took Benjamin out in his awesomely cute lion costume that my Mom found months ago. He was a little unsure about the costume at first, but he got used to it and seemed to enjoy walking around and visiting our neighbors. Next we stopped by Grandma Vicki's place to show off his costume and then headed back in time to greet many more trick-or-treaters.
